Take the tunnel (Tunnel has $3 toll at entrance), immediately on exiting the tunnel will be an exit for Route 3N/Storrow Drive-- take this exit.
Follow signs in the underground ramps to merge on to Storrow Drive West.
On Storrow drive, take the exit to Government Center/Kendall Square, and follow the ramp to Kendall Square/Cambridge.
This will take you over the Longfellow bridge. Once across the bridge, you will follow Main St. as it becomes Broadway (cannot continue straight on Main St.).
Take a left onto Ames street at the lights.
A parking garage is on your right, enter here and park.
Follow the walking directions to the lab 'From the public parking garage on Ames street'.
From the public parking garage on Ames street
A public parking garage is on Ames street near the intersection of Broadway and Ames St. in Cambridge (entrance is on Ames street). Exit the parking garage and walk along Ames Street to Main street. Take a right on Main street. The Koch Institute building is on the opposite side of the street at 500 Main street. Prof. Irvine's office is on the second floor (76-261); the laboratory is past Prof. Irvine's office around the corner (76-217).
From the Cambridge Marriott
Exit the lobby toward Main Street, passing the Kendall T Station entrance. Cross Main Street directly in front of you, turn right and take sidewalk along Main Street one block. Cross Ames Street at the stoplight, and the Koch Institute building is straight ahead. Enter through the door closest to Ames street, and walk through the corridor taking a left to reach the main stairs and elevators next to the cafe. We are located on the second floor. Prof. Irvine's office is in room 261; the laboratory is around the corner from Prof. Irvine's office in room 217.
